Lincoln Democrats Undertake Strategic Planning Effort

On May 2 the Lincoln Democratic Town Committee (LDTC) will kick‐off its first strategic planning event. Chairman Tim McMahon notes that this “is the next logical step in the progression of the Democratic Committee. We plan to identify what the future Democratic Party in Lincoln should look like and focus on the most productive activities to secure that future.” Ultimately the LDTC’s Strategic Plan will update the organization’s goals and objectives, define its priorities and schedule activities going forward.

“This truly is an exciting time to be a Democrat in Lincoln” stated McMahon, “we are building a cohesive team, raising money to support our candidates and building strong relationships at the state level. Once we have this plan in place, we’ll begin speaking with other Democrats in Lincoln and building a broader base.”

McMahon concluded by noting the Committee is actively looking for new members. “We are an inclusionary group with a big tent” said McMahon, “I’d love the chance to talk with any registered Democrat interested in learning more about the Committee.
