CITY/TOWN/WARD ENDORSEMENTS DUE

City, town and ward committees file with local boards of canvassers lists of local candidates having committee endorsements. To be filed not later than the day after the final day for filing declarations of candidacy. §17-12-11

Selection of wardens and clerks in cities

At least thirty-five (35) days before any election, the local board in each city shall appoint for each polling place within the city where an election is to be held a warden and clerk, not from the same political party.

The appointments shall be made from a list of not less than ten (10) registered voters presented to the board by the city or town committees of the political parties at least forty-five (45) days before any election.

PRIMARIES - PARTY OFFICIALS

Local boards of canvassers to appoint watchers, checkers and runners for primaries. appointments to be made from lists provided by city and town party committees at least 10 days prior to the primaries. (September 4 is a Saturday). §17-15-13
